My Race Sponsor for the Glasgow Men’s 10k

imagesI am looking forward to my 7th running event raising money for the Yorkhill Children’s Charity. The Men’s Glasgow 10k takes place on Sunday 21st June starting at the Glasgow Transport Museum, finishing in Glasgow Green.

I am delighted to have the support of Aviva as my race sponsor for this event and am looking forward to an enjoyable race. 160,000 babies, children and young people are treated at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children every year. donate_headerThe Yorkhill Children’s Charity sits firmly at the heart of the hospital, raising money to ensure that the young patients and their families receive the best possible care. I am delighted to be in the top 5% of charity fund raisers for March on JustGiving and this is thank’s to all who have so kindly given so far. With two of my ten events already completed I am now setting my sights on the Polaroid 10k Road Race Series, which starts with Helensburgh on 14th May, Dumbarton 21st May, Clydebank 27th May, finishing with Vale of Leven on the 7th June. Fund Raising Update

With the Dunoon Run and Ride completed, I thought I would give you an update on my fund raising for Yorkhill Children’s Charity. I would like to thank everyone who has donated so far bringing my total to £1,226.00.
After a couple of days to recover from Saturday, I will start training again tomorrow for my next events. Although I have the Kilt walk on the 12th April, my main focus now is on the Polaroid series of 10k races in May, so I have a bit of work to do over the next month and also fit a family holiday in. I am sure they have plenty of places to run in Disneyland Paris.
